How to Use

Add the masala while cooking meat and lentils (daal) along with basic ingredients like onion, ginger, and garlic.

Cook until tender, dry the mixture, mash, shape, and fry.

That’s it — everything you need is already perfectly blended.

RECIPE

You will need:

  • 1 kg (2–2.5 lbs) beef or any meat
  • 1 cup chana daal (soaked)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2–3 green chilies (to taste)
  • 3–4 tbsp Shami Kabab Masala
  • 2–3 cups water (as needed)
  • 1-2 eggs

Cooking method:

  1. Add meat, soaked daal, onion, ginger, garlic & green chilies to a pot.
  2. Add Shami Kabab Masala + water as needed. Mix well.
  3. Cook on medium heat until meat is tender and daal is soft.
  4. Cook further until mixture is dry.
  5. Mash well until smooth. Let it cool completely.
  6. Add 2–3 eggs (as needed).
  7. (Optional) Add chopped onion, coriander, mint & green chili.
  8. Shape kababs and shallow fry on medium heat until golden.

Ingredients

Coriander, Cumin, Salt, Red Chili, Black Pepper, Cloves, Black Cardamom, Star Anise, Cinnamon

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container.
Best used within 4–6 months for maximum freshness.
